10 new Nashville bars, restaurants, attractions you should make a resolution to visit in 2025

Nashville's food and entertainment space was elevated to new heights in 2024. Among its many, many openings were new live music and entertainment venues, more celebrity namesakes on Broadway and plenty of new dining options.

While some resolutions can be challenging to stick to, visiting these new Nashville destinations is sure to be less stress inducing. Looking ahead to 2025, here's which Music City places you should make a resolution to visit.

The Pinnacle

A conceptual rendering shows "The Pinnacle," a new music venue scheduled to open in 2025 in the Nashville Yards mixed-use district. Behind the venue is the future headquarters of Creative Arts Agency.

Location: Nashville Yards, 910 Exchange Lane, Nashville

Opening date: March 2025

At the center of the Nashville Yards projects is The Pinnacle, a 4,500-capacity music venue set to open in March 2025.

The Pinnacle, scheduled to open in March 2025, is already booked with concerts and events including Kacey Musgraves, Deadmau5, Journey, T-Pain, Jason Isbell and more. According to the venue's website, The Pinnacle is positioned to become a "magnet for world-class live performances and dynamic community engagement."

Chinatown

The Tennessee Nashville Chinatown project will feature a Pan-Asia Supermarket and numerous restaurants and shops.

Location:  Along Interstate 24 at 5255 Hickory Hollow Parkway

Opening date: 2025

Following the lead of major cities like New York and Chicago, Nashville will soon welcome it's very own Chinatown.

The Nashville Chinatown project is slated to open its first phase in 2025 — a 44,000-square-foot Pan-Asia Supermarket. As previously reported by the Tennessean, the market will be surrounded by ten authentic restaurants and shops, accented with modern Chinese architecture.

Developers aim to complete the project by 2027.

Maíz De La Vida

Location: 606 Eighth Ave. S., Nashville

Opening date: October 2024

Only a few weeks since its opening, Maiz de La Vida's brick-and-mortar is making waves in Nashville's dining scene. The Mexican eatery, located at at Paseo South Gulch, opened in October and a month later was named by the Tennessean as one of the top five best restaurants in Nashville.

As previously reported by the Tennessean, Chef Julio Hernandez's exquisite mole sauces rule the menu, like the vegetarian mole amarillo, mole negro with duck breast and the mole negro chicken enchiladas.

"Hernandez's food truck is still worth visiting, of course, but his new brick-and-mortar spot should be on your 'go here now' shortlist," wrote Senior Dining Reporter Mackensy Lunsford.

JBJ's Nashville

Location: 405 Broadway, Nashville

Opening date: June 8, 2024

Jon Bon Jovi added his own rock and roll flair to Broadway with the June opening of his long-awaited five-story Nashville bar.

JBJ's Nashville is a 37,000-square-foot entertainment space and gives fans an inside look at the band's decades-long history. The bar features two outdoor rooftop patios with views of Broadway and 4th Avenue.

The restrooms are even labeled "Tommy" or "Gina," a nod to the band's 1986 single "Livin' On A Prayer."

Category 10

Location: 120 Second Ave. N., Nashville

Opening date: Nov. 10, 2024

Luke Combs brought a storm to Lower Broadway with the November opening of his bar, Category 10, inspired by his 2016 breakout single "Hurricane."

The namesake bar took over what was previously Wildhorse Saloon at 120 Second Ave. N. and offers five separate entertainment spaces: a central honky-tonk, a concert and event space, an elevated bourbon lounge, a sports bar, and a 7,000-square-foot rooftop.

While most of the bars and lounges in Category 10 have been fully operational since the November opening, the rooftop area remains under development and is set to open in early 2025.

Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up

Location: 120 Third Ave. S., Nashville

Opening date: May 2024

Complete with a mirrored pair of bell-bottomed pants and cowboy boots, Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up is a true embodiment of the 2024 CMA Award Female Vocalist of the Year.

Wilson's 27,000-square-foot honky-tonk opened in the space formerly known as Florida Georgia Line's FGL House and houses two stages and four bars. The Western disco-themed rooftop features many of Wilson's ensembles, including her signature bell-bottoms and other outfits she's worn for television commercials, concerts and music videos.

Birria Babe

Location: 410 Woodbine St., Nashville

Opening date: June 29, 2024

Birria Babe is a woman-owned restaurant specializing in birria (slow cooked Mexican stew) dishes. After three years of operating out of a food truck, Chef Nadine Moore opened her brick and mortar inside Cyanide Cider in June.

Moore, self dubbed the Birria Queen, serves up classic quesatacos traditionally prepared with lamb while also offering other protein options like chicken and beef. Also on the menu are birria ramen bowls, where Shin Ramyun noodles meet your choice of protein served with cilantro and onion.

Cafe Babu

Location: 1044 Third Ave. S., Nashville

Opening date: October 2024

During the day, Cafe Babu acts as a cozy, relaxed spot for sipping coffee in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood near Wedgewood-Houston. At night, the unique space transforms into an intimate, candle lit space serving up wine and cocktails.

Since its October opening the cafe has quickly become a Nashville favorite, acting as the perfect Instagram backdrop thanks to its concrete molding and organic aesthetics.

Cafe Babu opened at 1044 3rd Ave. S. in October 2024.

Coral Club

Location: 604 Gallatin Ave. Suite 217, Nashville

Opening date: May 2024

Escape to a coastal oasis at East Nashville's Coral Club, a cocktail bar made to feel like a Mediterranean getaway amid the neon of Nashville. With its stone bar, lush greenery and oceanic libations, the space aims to whisk guests away to an oceanfront vacation.

Behind the open air, rooftop club are local hospitality veterans Aaron Izaguirre, Matthew Izaguirre, Kristopher Esqueda, and Brice Hoffman, who previously lent their talents to some of Nashville's most popular destinations: Urban Cowboy, Rolf and Daughters, Attaboy, Folk, and The Catbird Seat.

Playdate

Location: 2405 12th Ave. S., Nashville

Opening date: March 2024

Playdate, a bar and restaurant owned by Nashville-based Big Plans Hospitality, opened in March in the 12 South neighborhood.

Playfulness is what's on the menu at Playdate, a restaurant offering a diverse menu and laid-back vibes within a revamped, 1920s-era home on 12th Avenue South. Equipped with a slide, outdoor seating and a colorful mural, guests are encouraged to tap into their inner child.

As previously reported by the Tennessean, the concept behind Playdate originated from Big Plan Holdings, a Nashville-based, family-owned real estate business that launched its hospitality subsidiary in late 2023. The company, which also owns the Hank Williams Jr. Boogie Bar on Lower Broadway, purchased the 12 South building for $3.5 million.
